Children

Sunday School

Sunday School is held weekly at 10:45 am. It is a ministry for children, where they will learn the teachings of our church in a way oriented towards children. Sunday School is open to all children that are at least 3 years old. The activities include singing and lessons. They also sing in front of the congregation during worship services every so often. Starting in middle school, they will start to learn about the Heidelberg Catechism. Each Christmas Eve, they put on the Candlelight Service.

Student Connection

Our church supports the Student Connection in Aplington. It is a joint effort by both Aplington and Parkersburg churches. They meet every Wednesday night during the school year. It is for children middle school age and older.

Vacation Bible School

Every July, several Parkersburg churches join together to host Vacation Bible School. Each year a different church hosts. It is for children pre-school thru 5th grade.

Sunshine Circle

The Sunshine Circle is a ladies group that meets the 1st Wednesday of every month, at 1:30 pm.
